The West Virginia Department of Education will encourage all county superintendents, as well as all West Virginia school students and staff, to participate in a coordinated reading activity on this date. Each school, as well as those in other settings, is encouraged to participate in a read aloud activity between the hours of 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. The WVDE will share posts across all social media platforms using #LetsReadWV and encourage followers to post photos from their event using the hashtag.
